THE GOOD NEWS

Why Jesus matters.

Hope, forgiveness, and new life in Christ.
01 / GOD'S LOVE

God has not forgotten you.

The Bible says God loves the world so deeply that he gave his Son, Jesus, so that anyone who believes in him can have eternal life (John 3:16). You do not have to earn God's attention or clean up your life before you come to him.

02 / WHO JESUS IS

Jesus came close.

Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God, who became human and lived among us (John 1:14). He showed us what God's love looks like in real life—through truth, compassion, and the way he welcomed people.

03 / WHY WE NEED HIM

Something is broken.

Sin is more than a list of mistakes. It is the way we turn from God and try to live without him. We all fall short of God's good ways (Romans 3:23), and sin separates us from the life with him we were made for.

04 / THE CROSS & RESURRECTION

Love made a way.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins while we were still far from God (Romans 5:8). He rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). His resurrection is why Christians speak of real hope, forgiveness, and new life.

05 / A GIFT OF GRACE

You cannot buy this.

Salvation is God's gift, received by grace through faith in Jesus—not something we earn by being good enough (Ephesians 2:8–9). Buying a shirt, attending an event, or saying the perfect words cannot make someone a Christian. Jesus invites us to trust him.

06 / YOUR RESPONSE

What does following Jesus mean?

Jesus calls us to repent—to turn from sin and toward God—and believe the good news (Mark 1:15). Romans 10:9–10 describes confessing Jesus as Lord and believing that God raised him from the dead. Faith begins with trust in him and grows as we learn to follow him.

A PRAYER TO BEGIN

Want to trust Jesus?

You can speak to God in your own words. If it helps, you can pray this sinner's prayer:

Jesus, I know I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and put my trust in You. Be my Savior and lead my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer is a response to faith in Jesus, not a formula you have to say perfectly.
